We had a great week, and I am loving being back to school. After attempting a 'summer break' and having it flop miserably, I will sure not be trying that again any time soon!
This week we explored maps and the globe, while we learned about continents and the many other features of the world.
Our unplanned learning moments, in no particular order: :)
Hammering nails into foam. This kept him occupied for over and hour.
Baby Girl coloring. I did not know she could color, and I did not know she knew what frogs were, until she saw this picture and started hollering "Gog! Gog!".
Looking at the giant continent book.
Baby Girl inspecting a caterpillar. She was slightly anxious about it.
Bop's map.
Playing with our garage sale treasure. Chalkboard on one side, white board on the other. I was thrilled to find it, it is the perfect size. You can see our circle time board on the wall behind them, with the calendar and other things on it. Our well-loved workboxes are there, too.
