A Great Week!
We had so much fun doing our roller coasters download n go this week, but you will have to wait for my review to hear about that. For now, let me tell you about the other stuff we did.
We had a very successful week, and Bop finished 2 lessons in Math U See! They were pretty easy ones, but considering she is already doing first grade work, I was impressed! She is really loving it, and it only takes her about 10 minutes a day to do her worksheets.
A fun activity to learn the colors of the blocks
Building a bridge
We have been really enjoying our letter of the week stuff from Confessions of a Homeschooler. I thought it would all be too easy for Bop and CJ, but there are some gaps in there that this is helping to cover. CJ really had trouble with the patterning at first, and Bop does not associate her upper- and lowercase letters as well as I thought she did.
Here they are, all working together
Making BLUE letters for the letter 'B'
She did it!
This is the first time she had ever been able to do any kind of sorting, and she LIKED IT!
Woo Hoo!
Sorting colors- She did it again!!
And she LIKED it! In case you wondered, we have had a really hard time getting her to do anything like this, she just want's to throw things. So this was really exciting!
Hooray!
Peterson Directed Phonics- I love this program!
Playing with magnet letters on Game Day
Mama's Favorite Picture
I was cooking and Baby Girl kept saying "Mama! Huss! Mama, Huss huss!" Finally I turned around, getting ready to chide her for telling mama to hush and I saw this.
Goodnight, little Piglet! :)
